What about my completion certificate?
After you pay for the course and pass the final exam, we will electronically notify the DC DMV of your successful completion. The DMV will remove the points from your record and notify you via e-mail or mail once removed. You do not have to visit or contact the DC DMV. For your convenience, you may download a completion certificate for your records. If necessary, rush processing of your completion certificate to the Washington DC DMV can be added — for a small fee.
How much does the course cost?

Am I eligible to participate in this course?
If you accumulate points on your driving record, the DMV will require you to attend a traffic school program. You may participate in WashingtonDCDriver.com to satisfy your DMV requirement, or you may participate voluntarily. Some auto insurers offer discounts for voluntary course participation. Please contact your insurance company for more information before you enroll in our course.
If DMV requires you to participate in a traffic school course, you can complete WashingtonDCDriver.com to meet this requirement, protect your driving privilege, and remove points from your official driving record! You have 15 days from the DMV hearing decision date to pay your violation and 30 days from the hearing decision date to complete the course.
Must I complete this course in one sitting?
WashingtonDCDriver.com is designed to accommodate your schedule. You may participate at your own pace and login and out of the program at any time; all of your progress is saved automatically. Many participants complete the course the same day that they enroll, but this is not required. Just make sure that you complete the course prior to your due date and pay all necessary fees.
I have already enrolled. How do I get back into the program?
If you have already enrolled, you have a username and password. Use these to login on the WashingtonDCDriver.com homepage. If you have forgotten or lost your username or password, please give us a call at 1-877-972-4665.
What about my due date?
If the DMV has ordered you to complete a traffic school course, you have 15 days from the DMV hearing decision date to pay your violation and 30 days from the hearing decision date to complete the course. Please make sure to complete our course a few days in advance of your due dates and pay all necessary fees. We will electronically notify the DC DMV of your successful completion. The DMV will remove the points from your record and notify you via e-mail or mail once removed. You do not have to visit or contact the DC DMV. Unfortunately, we cannot contact the DMV on your behalf to request a due date extension.
